Step into a dream at an exceptional four-bedroom ocean-view home at Wai'ula'ula within the Mauna Kea Resort.

At this single level home, you will find a place that is like a resort within a resort — and one that you don't have to share with anyone else. Sink into the warm waters of your own saltwater infinity pool and take in a wide-angle view of Kohala Mountain, Kawaihae, and the Pacific glimmering ahead of you. Be sure to keep your seat as the sun sinks; this home has one of Wai'ula'ula's best vantage points for sunset.

Up to eight guests can sleep comfortably here, claiming both a house and a separate one-bedroom ohana cottage with its own private entrance. The main home features three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, while the ohana has an additional bedroom and bath. An additional outdoor shower provides a place to rejuvenate in the sea air.

An open-concept, indoor/outdoor layout makes it simple for friends and family to dine together, either inside or al fresco in the sea breeze, then gather on the sectional sofa for a movie on the large flat-screen TV. With multiple lanais — and a total of 3,337 square feet of living space — everyone has a place to relax here.

Hale Keanu was the perfect fit for our family of 7. The view from this home is absolutely amazing! And after staying in the more crowded Waikoloa area on past trips - we really appreciated the quiet of being in our own home (especially during Covid).
Perhaps the best perk of the home is the access to Mauna Kea Resort & Beach (+ Westin Hapuna). I believe we went to Mauna Kea beach every day of our trip!

Hale Keanu - This home is very well situated with 2 master suites, queen bedroom & 3 twin beds in the Ohana (the Ohana has its own entrance from outside). The kitchen is very well stocked with anything a person could need - also a top notch bbq on the covered lanai outside. The pool takes advantage of the gorgeous view. There are beach toys and chairs in the garage for renters to use. It was an amazing stay and we just want to return - next time we do - we hope Hale Keanu is available.

Not to be forgotten - Adrianna was very helpful every step of the way from renting the property and questions while we were there. Many Thanks :)

The home was as good as the photos, maybe better. The yard and pool were great. Great indoor and outdoor seating. Very comfortable and relaxed setting. The only negative is the shower water temperature. Kitchen sink is hot but showers were not. We plan to come back.

Our Family of 9 adults had the most amazing time laughing and spending quality time together at the beautiful Hale Keanu! The rooms and common areas are large and inviting, while still providing privacy. Hale Keanu was sparkling clean and well stocked upon our arrival. We stayed home and cooked about 50% of the time and enjoyed using the Sub Zero and Wolf appliances/BBQ. The pool and jacuzzi were amazing. The view was spectacular! We really enjoyed daybreak drinking Kona Coffee on the chaise lounges trying to figure out how we could stay forever. Adrianna is kind, professional and so easy to work with!! Nine days was not long enough. We made heartwarming family memories that will last forever. Thank you Adrianna!! I had the best Birthday ever! This is a stunning home both inside and out, and exceeded our expectations! The interior is beautifully designed including quality pieces of furniture, the kitchen so well appointed, beds very comfortable with great linens and pillows, and overall the home very clean. Loved the ambience with the adjustable lighting and sound system (inside and patio area).

The patio dining, seating, outdoor grill, hot tub and pool were enjoyed late afternoons and evenings. Highlight was toasting the sunsets over the ocean ~ stunning views!!

Excellent service from Adrianna, the property manager and communication from Yuki, who provided information for activities and such during our stay. We hope to be back some day soon!

We will definitely be coming back! The house was beautiful and stocked with everything you could think of. Sunsets were gorgeous, pool was perfect and all bedrooms had great linens with fantastic bathrooms as well. The home is sparkling clean. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked too. 5 Star all around! Adrianna was incredibly warm and helpful and made everything so easy. Thank you for a fantastic vacation.

This is a beautiful home with spectacular ocean views. We enjoyed the sunsets and even saw whales breaching while we sat poolside. This is the best place our family has stayed during our 40 years visiting Hawaii. We are already planning to visit again next year.

We stayed there for 10 days in July. Extremely happy with the home and the service from Adriana. The pictures on the website are exactly what you get. Interior design is of a very high quality, kitchen is very well equipped, pool and outdoor areas are great. There is lots of beach equipment in the garage too which was very useful.

We were a group of 5 adults and 3 young children. With that in mind it would have been useful to have a baby high chair and some plastic plates and cups. We ended up renting from another company during our stay. BBQ was great as well. In terms of the other comments around bugs, we were careful to keep the kitchen and food areas clean so we’re not that bothered as long as everything was air tight.

An Oasis in Paradise

This is truly a beautiful home. We had six adults and two small children in our party. The children loved the pool and spent much time there. There were four bedrooms so lots of room to spread out for private time also. Just be aware that the Ohana truly has a separate entrance that is accessed from outside and not inside the house. This was not a problem as we put an adult couple in there. However, that is not ideal for the sleeping arrangement as it has three single beds. That being said, our visit still couldn't have been any better. Adrianna from the Management Company was great to work with and was very responsive. This home is the best stocked VRBO I've rented. All high end kitchen utensils and appliances. The view onto the golf course and then the ocean is awesome. We took out the binoculars and watched the whales. I would highly recommend this home for a vacation rental.

This house was by far the nicest, well-stocked, wonderfully organized (did i mention the amazing view) home we have rented in Hawaii. Every tiny detail was looked after, and Adriana was so helpful answering any questions we had and giving us tips for activities. We even cancelled our one dinner reservation since the house and fabulous outdoor grill made it just so easy to stay and watch the sunset.
